Look North. Again.

Did they mention Isak?
Mention him, he was reading the news.
Look North and ITV both hate Sunderland - they’ll be over for the one year anniversary of the rioters and that’s about it
Every story is about Newcastle, except for example, "The North East is one of the worst places for Wife Beating, we're going live over to Sunderland".

This 👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻 👆🏻 is a classic example of how they try to constantly portray the rest of the region as being somehow inferior. If it had been something positive, even if not directly linked to Newcastle, they'd have shoe horned in some connection, no matter how tenuous.

They do this all the time. It’s complete bullshit and detrimental to the rest of the region.
Isak top sports story followed by Boro signing somebody from France. No mention of Xhaka flying in
This alone tells you everything you need to know about who's controlling the editorial decisions. Probably our biggest signing in a decade and not even mentioning it, although its dominating message boards, Sky etc. They'll try to justify it by saying he's not signed yet and give it about 1min when he does. The fact that we're currently creating more "inches of copy" at the moment is killing them, anything that takes the attention away from the Toon is verboten.

It’s completely obvious bias but the production/management team don't give a flying feck because there's zero accountability. Mags monitoring mags.
Bizarre.
A nothing story about Isaak (nothing new anyway) yet the former Arsenal captain lands to have a medical and sign for Sunderland. Surely more newsworthy?
Given all the interest from the national sports press and online PLUS the fact he's here having a medical I would suggest that any other local regional news provider around the country would mention it. Not in the NE though.
Well he hasn't signed yet - still nothing official from SAFC. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe when he officially signs?
So you're seriously suggesting that if the mags had flew in, I don't know, say someone like Robert Lewandowski or Luka Modric, to have a medical that, because he wasnt signed, they'd not mention it on the show much less the sports section?

Give your heid a wobble.

Everyone can see the bias in the local media

Just don’t watch it is the best advice

Find something else more productive to do
But its a public service provider funded by what is essentially another form of taxation. They're mission statement is to provide for the region. We shouldn't have to put up with it. Accepting it, enables it. It got worse after Sky invented football and has ramped up again since they sold their souls. I've no doubts that pressure (or funding) is coming from the new ownership to ensure blanket positive coverage.

Like what you did their si73 give your heid a wobble as in Heidi that famous Swiss think this xhaka deal has got to you marra😆

So much happening at Sunderland right here, right now .
Women`s Rugby World Cup kicking off at the Stadium of Light 22nd August.
The new footbridge soon to be opened .
The new signings keep coming.
The Riverside development is one of the largest projects in the UK.
City centre pubs tour getting great u Tube reviews
Fans of most Premier teams cant wait for an away day here.

Whats not to like about that.

Saw Simon O’Rouke outside the stadium after the game.

He was absolutely buzzing.
Big smile on his face during the sports segment but it was quickly moved on from our "great start" to the mags being unlucky, cos Isak wasn't playing to score all the chances they created. 🙄

Looks like Thewlis is "working from home" today on BBC North Korea.

Look North on breakfast just there. Leading with Isak transfer story. Second story about the crash at South Shields where people have actually lost their lives. Vile really.
It's a bigger lead story marra.
Even on the main news about Liverpool breaking the transfer record.
Sadly the car crash is old news now.
