Thats for premiership clubs dont know about for small clubs like Boro . Came in in 2020

I honestly thought you could loan as many as you wanted but could only have a certain number in your match day squad. I don't read up properly on these things TBH mind

That sort of thing is to prevent semi B Teams/semi feeder clubs type scenarios developing.

Though an idea was mooted during C19 that if certain clubs were prepared to hoy a mad amount into the FL pot to be shared around to keep the FL clubs going they’d be either allowed their b team in the full time system as in Spain or to send more of their kids to a specific club feeder club style.I’m not sure how seriously it was taken though.
 
Pretty sure outside of premier league you can loan more than one player from a club, just limited to only 5 loans in match day squad

"A Championship team can have a maximum of four players on loan from any single club during a season, with a further restriction that no more than two of those can be over the age of 23 at the start of the season, and they can only name a maximum of five total loan players in their matchday squad (reduced to four if an emergency goalkeeper is used)."

Thats crazy that mind, if the top 10 was the obligation.

I still do rate Openda though, this move just hasnt worked at all

It means Leipzig sold a front 3 of sesko, simons and openda for 190m euros (Sesko 75m, Xavi Simons 65m, Openda 50m including the loan fee)

Their DoF needs a pay increase for sure

Only if he managed to replace them. Selling good players is easy.

I still think there’s a good argument to play a fast striker off of him as he holds it up and lays it off that well. But 4-4-2 isn’t fashionable these days

Well they signed Nusa the season before for around 20m, bakayoko for 20m and diomande for 20m. Diomande is being linked with 80m moves to the premier league

They have scored 56 this season, 3 more than the whole of last season. Theyre sitting 4th and finished last season 7th. Its safe to say he has replaced them adequately

Also, it was more a statement making 190m for the three is incredibly high for the quality they have shown since, Sesko is on 9 in 23 which isnt bad to be fair. Simons has been a flop, and openda is on the one league goal. So 190m for the three is incredible business
