Moving slowly towards the Durham-based sides in the NTSL joining the Durham/NEPL set up.

They are looking to promote 3 teams from DCL & NTCL,
So there would then be 12 teams in all 4 divisions as far as i can gather.
Shotley and swalwell from NTSL and crook from DCL. With bottom team from DCL 2 relegated subject to Kimblesworth meeting criteria.

Shotley and Ashington. Swalwell have already made clear that they would refuse promotion. Plus Crook from DCL as the highest placed team which would meet the criteria.

Think the next highest placed DCL team would be Philadelphia?

This is the start of the end for NEPL

Strange club Swalwell. Spend a decent wedge and pretty much win that league every year, yet even with some ridiculous travels with their merge with Northumberland, they don't seem to fancy progressing.

I think juniors held them back in the past but know they have been working on these over the past few years.

Correct answer. This ain’t going to end well. Nepl doing nothing for Durham as it stands.
Depends if clubs want to join NEPL or not.

Be interesting if they can't fill the 3 spots mind. It may signal the first loss of power for the league

Does anyone know where Brandon will end up?? Will it be DCL1 or lower

Swalwell is an odd one. Maybe as they see the top clubs in the NTSL moving over, they will change their minds.

Brandon conceding more games for their 2nd XI today I see. Imagine the sympathy many in the league did have for them after the ruling last week is diminishing very quickly.

No, just the one today mate ;)

The Seconds have struggled all season though, so today is no different really. The second time they’ve conceded. Twice this season played with 7 players too.

To be honest, Brandon CC just need the season to end and to be given an answer as to which league they’ll be in next season. From there, the club will rebuild. There’s a lot of lessons to learn from this downfall, but I’m confident the club will be stronger for it.

As I understand it from the meeting.
Brandon relegated to DCL 1 to fill gap.
As I now understand it Washington, Shotley and Crook into NEPL. With Brandon filling DCL 1 gap.
Murton relegated from DCL2 with Kimblesworth promoted as NEDCL champions. Subject to criteria being met (shouldn't be an issue TBH).

Plus today Rainton firsts host Stanhope.
Seconds no game as Burnhope conceded.

Washington already there- guessing you mean Ashington?

Imagine Rob, if you were a player who had recently left Rainton to go to Burnhope, you would be devastated.

Do you think you'll keep a Sunday 3s next season mate?
