LO9 england call up

I do agree that he gets unnecessary hate, the pena people were foaming at the mouth about him, must have had around 10 pre typed posts fly about him “being reckless” etc., then again later for Mukieles back post header one poster even said “it would have been chalked off due to Onien stupid block on the spurs player anyway”, I just accepted it

But watching back the match highlights this morning Oniens doing nowt hahaha some people absolutely detest him for no good reason
They dislike him because he smiles.

Tbf seeing the mags have 5 or so players in there it’s not as daft as shout as first thought. I’d rather have him than owld dodgy digits
In the week that the Mags conceded nine goals in two games, four of their back five (including gk) were in the England squad!😁 he called up the worst defence in the world, that week, to play for their country!

Wouldn't be surprised if Stones wasn't called up, he's played 7 games this season.

Probably sniffing about trying to replace RLB.
You maybe right, but on the plus side, he wouldn't go into a world cup tired, like some of them maybe, when all said and done, i think all of us who will be watching england in a couple of weeks time, can pretty much guess 50% of the final squad.

Who was Thomas Tuchel checking on whilst at the match on Sunday? For us the only Englishmen were Rigg & (ex-Singaporean) LON. For Spurs Archie Gray, Solanke (not good enough) & Spence (who was on the bench). Perhaps he just fancied a day out at the SoL?
EDIT: I totally forgot about Conor Gallagher for Spurs. Mind you, Tuchel will have too, after that performance. He was anonymous. I can only recall one incisive pass in 85 minutes on the park for him. Spurs paid Atletico Madrid £34M for him 😳.

Never ever underestimate Luke....He is a Living Legend of SAFC. I can remember many saying he wasn't good enough for League One!
At the time, he wasn't - that's the brilliant thing about L09 - he works and works at his game. He makes mistakes, the goes away and improves.

O'Nien has been here for 8 seasons now and has only been in the starting line up for the first game of the season 4 times - that includes the time he was hooked at HT on his debut. It shows the mark of the man - he forces his way into the team, even when you think he has no chance of being good enough. It's remarkable really
