There’s always 1 player.

Bardsley and PVA spring to mind. Both went on to play for PL clubs after us too
 

Dan Burn might be comparable on defensive qualities but has height on his side. Always a potential goal threat from corners.
 
Who was Thomas Tuchel checking on whilst at the match on Sunday? For us the only Englishmen were Rigg & (ex-Singaporean) LON. For Spurs Archie Gray, Solanke (not good enough) & Spence (who was on the bench). Perhaps he just fancied a day out at the SoL?

Wouldn't be surprised if Stones wasn't called up, he's played 7 games this season.

They are desperate to be proven right after constantly writing him off… just say you were wrong lads. He’s proved himself a very important squad player and influence.
Merging the old with the new.
There are negative views based on capabilities (fair enough) and there are obsessed entrenched haters, the latter have been proven to be pig ignorant
