How do you know that? Maybe we would have even more in the ground if streams weren't available?

Only positive about relegation is no streams available

Not really a good thing, we have minimum of 40,000 fans, and less than a thousand will get to see Norwich away. It's archaic.

I disagree, sick of armchair gobshites spouting shite about matches. Feel a bit sorry for fans who genuinely live away and cannot get to matches. I'm like Quinny, I hate 'fans' who watch matches in the pub

No idea what archaic means.

People who've seen the game talking about it>People who've listened to Gary Bennet mention the game occasionally for 90 minutes talking about it.

Cutting out streaming isn't gonna add 10000 to the gate, if that's what you're thinking.

The club have made the right decision with this. Match-going fans should be the priority. People saying we are losing money by not doing these streams but I think the opposite. If we offered streams then attendances could drop so miss out on ticket money and club even said don't know cost of stream to them so might not even make a profit doing it.

So many armchair gobshites about too (not saying everyone is before someone says) so couldn't give a fuck about them.

Also some of the emails being sent on here are cringeworthy. I might send one congratulating the club on a good decision
Think them that are getting upset need a long hard look at themselves, if this is worth getting bothered about there must be a need for a bit more of a life :)

The people getting upset all live overseas and have a deep afinity for the club. This was something we have been hoping and willing to pay for since the internets inception, effectively an electronic season ticket. Eventually this service has been made available, the golden ticket finally here only for our beloved club to say no thanks we're frightened the overseas people might just watch streams and not attend. Of course we won't attend, we live overseas ffs. Let us decide what's worth it. Let me tell you what isn't worth it, replays 24hrs later for anyprice. This is 2017 you gimps.

The club have said they're unsure of costs. It might not be financially worth it or could lose them money. They've also got to consider attendances at the sol as a priority, if streams were available oversees they would still be used in the UK somehow

Streaming is been commonplace in pubs for the past 9 years or so and through Kodi in the last 3 years in particular, yet our gates have increased year on year over the past 5 years.

That's nice, dear. But I think you've made a mistake. Trolling and shite is supposed to be posted in Parsnip.

Fuck off

Ok, thanks. Don't have Viaplay, but should obviously consider

Little correction for Friday.

Our match is still shown live on Viaplay but the 21.40 time on TV3 Sport 1 isn't an hour delayed afterall. When the Danish league match has finished they will go straight to the second half of our match and show it live. The match in full will then be shown on TV3 Sport 1 a quater past Midnight (Danish time). So the second half will be live on the telly, the full match will be live on Viaplay and then full match will be shown delayed on the telly from 00.15 as well.

Thanks again, great info. May consider Viaplay now that the club has dropped the other solution

Am still hopeful the club will have a change of heart but till that happens you can't go too wrong with Viaplay. If they haven't changed things since I signed up a few years back you will get the first month for free.

When will the football authorities get in to the 21st century

Why can someone with probably no affinity to safc watch every game

While die hards like me who don't gan away anymore can't
The way to do it Hank is to use a VPN, there's some free ones out there. The VPN makes it look like you're coming in from another country. I use one for insecure hotel wifis and I can choose any of scores of countries, but I do pay for that. Google VPN and find a quality free one. Mind, if SAFC don't subscribe we are stuffed anyway.

If Sunderland had an app for all live streaming I would sign up,& pay....revenues lost Sunderland if I have no access...
The club care barely sell beer and tickets without f***ing it up, what chance do you think they have with an app?

I'm baseed in Portland, Oregon. Last few years have been great as NBC had every game live to stream but now we're in the Championship I'm hoping the club offer a solution.

No doubt they'll be weighing up the cost of having the service built into the website against how many subs they're likely to sell. I wonder if they decide against it if they can still join ifollow at the last minute?
What do you do in Portland mate? I've visited it a few times. Always strikes me as the Scotland of the USA.
