It was a tongue in cheek joke about the young lad that fielded and batted for us.

But yeah matty potts batted very well.

Thanks to Washington for hosting us we where made to feel very welcome hopefully we can arrange something mod season to return the favour. They have a lot of talent in their ranks and are still doing a good job to improve things on and off the field. Have a good season boys

I know Matthew Brown and his Dad. My lad opened the bat with Matthew for the DCB U11's against Dubai at Whitburn last season. They put 56 on for the opening partnership. It was the little and large show as Matthew towered above my lad.

Good player.

Matthew has moved up to U13's and like at a lot of clubs he will no doubt get chances above that level, something that my lad wont have much chance to do. Pitfalls of being at a club like CLS CC who have loads of players at all levels.

Interesting too see Matty Potts getting 50. How old is he...15? Cracking player.
