We’ve always got a mistake or two in us mate. We are wasteful and a bit toothless up front. Add all that together it’s not a good combination and I think that in reality we’re really not that good. As you say 2-0 on the face looks a little harsh but it keeps happening to us so it is more than just bad luck.

Jones was a good signing and I believe Winchester will come good. Hard to judge Vokins given his poor start and then suffering badly from Covid. The jury is out (for me anyway) on Stewart.

He'd be better off letting the majority of those out-of-contract players go and get the squad made up of players who know exactly what he wants and how he expects us to play.

Jones is yet to really prove he was a good signing and there's absolutely nothing to suggest that Winchester will come good given his age and career so far.
 
Well its only half time but obviously im a very happy Imp tonight ! 4/5yrs or so ago we were non league and i believe you were premiership/championship! Tonight u hit the xbar and we the post.!
Game on i would suggest saturday ! And the person who said its lincoln ffs and whoever called us a pub team early on in the season RESPECT PLEASE!

For the last week all we have heard is how the break would do us good and we’d come flying out of the traps. I now fully expect a bullshit rallying call tomorrow and then another gutless performance on Sat.

Everything about that team is just an embarrassment to our club

he already has and does mean business. look into the building he is doing behind the scenes. People may not like it but we, as a project, will take time to succeed. Just have to accept it

Yeah, all the evidence has been clear for weeks that we were heading for a defeat like this tonight. It's only faith and hope that plays with our emotions and makes us look beyond what is obvious. Most of the players just aren't good enough.
 
A static midfield is enhanced by a slower Leadbitter on 69 minutes. Diamond is given the chance to save the game on 90 minutes. Says it all. Don't want to see a lot of these players again in a Sunderland shirt but Leadbitter as an option shows how tactically bankrupt Johnson is.

Not me mate, we have shit team to worry about up here. Teams win matches with a game plan. We have no game plan ,just hit and hope to Wyke..

Exactly mate. We need to start looking at how people build football clubs not how they give smart answers in interviews or have "references" we aren't hiring mobile phone salespeople.
