Tbf thought he had a decent/ok game at Fukham in the cup - but that just confirmed his level really.

Think he will do a decent job for someone like dirty Leeds bastards mind.
 
Remember his debut and thinking we had a found a good solid upgrade on Catts. Shame it was a one off and it didn't work out but does not seem cut out for it.

Hope he does well and Buckley gets into the Leeds team too so they can purchase both in Jan.
 
Played way too safe. At Brighton where they would have been winning most weeks and dominating possession its okay playing sideways backwards most of the time but at us in our situation it wasn't what we needed. More often than not he'd put us under more pressure.

Having said that I don't think he is that bad. Good luck to him and thanks for a truly excellent debut.

I won't defend Bridcutt other than to say if, for example Norwich or Leicester had signed him I wouldn't be surprised if he'd had a better career than he's had here. That might be the case, but he would only have delayed the inevitable - a return to the Championship. He didn't have enough ability to make up for the enormous physical disadvantages he had. He was a pygmy with average ability.
 
Looks like he is just going to get there in time for Will Buckley to come back to us at the end of his loan to them!
 
Bridcutt to Leeds and Buckley back. That's what I would have done with as Sam.

Sam would have scouted both players whilst at West Ham and would known the lack of quality of Bridcutt and the quality of Buckley and it makes sense to sus the injury situaton with the latter first hand. Play deep defensive and Buckley on the bench to run at a tiring opposition at 66 minutes is useful option.
