Leicestershire v Durham

Watching the development of Potts this year, first for Durham and then for England has been an absolute joy, and a good example of why I love Durham and first class cricket, Washy to Lords in very very little time.

Nothing better than watching a local talent improve before your own eyes
Welcome back lad.

YES POTTSY!!

Scriven c Bedingham b Potts 3.

Five in the innings for Potts, 11 now in the match.

134-6 (lead is 40).
Would make a canny strong line up in theory.

Lees, Jones, Dickson, borthwick, bedingham, trevaskis, mackintosh, coughlin, Raine, potts, Gibson

We could even go into next season on a winning streak 🤯

I’d rather keep Borthwick at 3 and play Bushnell at 5/6.

ANOTHER for Potts, brilliant catch from MackIntosh!

Barnes c MackIntosh b Potts 1.

136-7. Lead is 42.

They'd still be behind if it wasn't for extras from both innings

Wright b Gibson 0.

You’ll have to see it to believe it, but a bizarre dismissal. Wright defends a straight, fullish delivery which bounced high into the air behind him and then came down on top of the middle and leg bail.

173-9. Lead is 79.

21 overs remaining tonight if the last wicket falls in the next 5 balls.

30 byes given up now. 53 in the match from our lads.
Fuck sake this last 10 minutes have been embarrassingly bad.

That’s an exaggeration like.

THATS IT!

Parkinson c Bedingham b Potts 19.

198 all out.

Durham require 105 runs to win. There are 15 overs remaining tonight, with a possible further 8 if the umpires feel we can get the runs within them.
