Leicester v The Mags - 4:30 KO

I can imagine but it was like that humming thing Millwall used to do back in't day that went on and on and on.
I remember under Gullit (Glory days compared to now) when it was at its worst we must have sang Toon Toon B&W army for most of the game on loop. Chants are only ever really good if we're total shite and it's funny, or actually playing well.

If people weren't so disenfranchised with the club, they might be inspired to start a few chants, but it's shit so they won't. Add to that most grounds just recycle songs they've heard from somewhere else anyway.

I just had another look at the highlights on Youtube. Leicester were just able to go straight through them with barely a tackle or attempt to close them down.

No wonder the mags didn't want to talk to me on Sunday evening as that was embarrasing.
Still no comment from the True Geordie. :D

You could've created another log in and talked to yourself about it like you did on here that time.

Sadly for them the absolute perfect replacement after Benitez would have been Allardyce as he would have kept on drilling them defensively in a similar way to Benitez had them set up. And ironically after hounding him out once they probably would have been up in arms if that was the way Ashley had of went :D

I'm Waskerly Mackem and it's my only account on here. The echo from me repeating that must be deafening by now.

Let's jog from that now.

Mags are never happy unless they've a hate figure to be unhappy about.

That makes Steve Bruce perfect for them. An ex-manager of SAFC for starters? What's there not to hate about him?

You just know that singing that shite song for the whole of the second half, regardless of the result is going to become their 'thing'.
So desperate for attention and an identity it's watch through your fingers gear.
They've been lauded by the media as being the best fans in the country cos they sang a bit in the second half. We did when we were losing 8.0 to Southampton and the media didn't suck us off. Oh wait it wasn't live on sky though was it?

In light of this whole season with thrashings at Norwich, Leicester and Liverpool (11 goals conceded in those 3 games) it really is a f***ing mystery how they pulled off a sneaky 1-0 win down at Spurs.
Like the old saying, give enough monkeys enough typewriters and they’ll produce the works of Shakespeare.

Let the mags play enough games and even they will win a game.

I was a bit concernes they were going to be very resilient in the early days under Bruce. Looks like it was just a fluke.

Aye. We've arguably got a worse manager and definitley a poorer squad than 15/16.
SSN had a graphic on for managers with 300+ games with the lowest win %. Bruce was only one in the 20s. No idea how he gets jobs really but with him in charge it's nailed on for relegation, which everybody knew as he's pure shite.
I always thought that the squad that the mighty Rafa inherited was a squad that should never have been relegated and only did so due to negative tactics from both McClaren and Rafa. When Rafa decided to walk for a ‘top project’ in China, I argued with a few mags I know that Rafa has left the club in a worse state than the one he inherited and not one would admit I was correct as they had him on a pedestal. Rafa’s buys are now proving to be a little suspect, but Bruce now has to carry the can for that, and good enough for him.
