LEGO builds for Adults

Currently working my way through the home alone house.

Might take it down in the year and rebuild it every Christmas. There's 24 bags so could do it as part of the advent countdown.

Having said that I'll probably just leave it up 😂

I've nearly finished the Ecto-1. When I eventually finished my plan was to hang it up on the wall next to the Deloriian I built last year. However, I hadn't realised just how big it is compared to the Delorian, so I'm a bit hesitant now about hanging it up.

To those of you who've built the Ecto-1 did you try hanging it up and did it stay up okay?

Just realised I never posted this last year. Think I meant to then got distracted. We finished just before Xmas. It’s taken us five years since we got it as a gift, although only really doing it in the last year or so, a bag on a Saturday with a glass of wine. Loved it. So much fun.View attachment 18651

What is that stand you are using to display it on and does it seem sturdy?

Got the boy the dark Falcon. His biggest set yet. Not one for Star Wars purists but he asked for it. Dont judge.
Snap, my son wanted it as well, mainly for the Vader in it as he has a good collection of Lego Vaders. Bought a great stand for it from Wicked Bricks

Got these for Christmas, I have a problem though, I don't do nightshifts anymore so I won't have time to do them😂, the fact they'd probably take about 15 hours combined it is putting me off doing them in my own time
me and bairn did the mclaren a year or two back, iirc it comes in four bags which splits the build up over a nice period of time (plus its quite real so great to see how an f1 car comes together).
