Leeds forum


They are terrified that we are going to succeed. They were banking on us being a relegation certanty, like others. We may well not be😁

I would put our chance of staying up at less than 10% simply because the difference in the PL and the Championship is too great and is becoming more and more of a closed shop. I actually think you guys have a better chance than most promoted clubs simply because you are kind of similar to when we went up a few seasons ago under Bielsa ie long time out of the top flight, large fan base, one club city, unknown quantity etc. I also think Leeds and Burnley have PSR limitations which is of course to your advantage.

Go back to page 3 which is when I first posted and which was in response to a load of delusional fellating each other because of Diarra which then led to the time honoured debate about who’s bigger. Let’s be honest players go for trophies, money or ideally both. None of us know the personal terms or get out clauses that may exist so enjoy the excitement and a day in the sun - but don’t be bellends about it. In the end we are both in the same plaque pit but football needs clubs like ours to break through and stop us moving to a point where clubs vote to abolish promotion in its current form. Imagine if we can send any 3 from Wolves, Everton, palace Bournemouth or Brentford down how sweet that would?

I come on here cause I’m from Teeside, have loads of friends who are Mackems and I love football. I like to hear reasoned debate - but I’m a Leeds fan first and foremost and I can’t stand reading shite about my club although fully accepting our many, many shortfalls and the fact that a % of fans of any club are morons

Check my posting history and you will see that I never gloated when we won last season and I also wished you the best for the playoffs.

I quite like this site (it’s also very intuitive to use) but don’t kid yourself that it isn’t full of tits posting shit in much the same way other clubs forums do

In answer to your question about who is pL quality if the current squad. I’d probably say Bogle, Ampadu, Roden, James and possible Ramazani. Of course they all need better players around them otherwise their weaknesses will be exploited. You also forget we just had 3 seasons in the prem and spent 2 of them getting hammered. I know what to expect and I know the PL is even stronger this time around

I’m sure the tits will jump on this post and say how shit Bogle is or some other toss but I’m sure you can appreciate I am big enough and ugly enough to call out any shit where I see it..Echo chambers are incredibly boring IMO

I think James and Ramazzani are short of EPL quality.

I'd agree our PSR starting point probably gives us a slight advantage...Leeds could really do with losing about 15 players so they can recruit

Agreed, had some dopey little twat ran up to me mouthing off outside of ER after a game because I had my 73 top on. Conversation went something like this;

"You think ya funny wearing that?"
"Aye, why like? You want to do something about it like?"

Was obviously not expecting that type of response as he shit himself and left, obviously looking for someone less happy to accommodate him who he could try to intimidate.

I think Ramazzani needs more game time and perhaps a change in attitude. Not James’s biggest fan but he has PL experience and his end product has improved

Know what you mean about selling but the PL is more about squad strength. We got away with it (ie a small squad) for one season under Bielsa and failing to have the right cover in place for an injury, suspension or to cover games over the African Nations can crucify a team in the PL where every single weakness can be exploited

It was painful watching Leeds last time in the PL with a shit manager / managers. In the Champo you make a mistake and 2/3 opposition players may combine to create a chance. In the PL you may a mistake and 80% of the time the balls in the back of your net

We all want to be in the PL but sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for

We will not go quietly into the night, we are going in stripped to the waste, 6 foot 4 and full of muscle, do or die it's you or I, never say never, who dares wins, charge of the light brigade, the unsinkable Molly brown, Jack the Ripper, DB Cooper, John Dillinger, 2 world wars and 1 world cup!!!

We must be selling the club well, because that's two players who have opted for us over Leeds. They had a bid accepted for Diarra, however they deny that now, but Reinildo was free, so they can't say we overpaid with that one😁. We won't be paying huge wages, well not more than Leeds probably would. Leeds had a stronger Championship squad than us, so might look like they need to buy less.
Personally, I think it was a a good "Championship squad" so probably need as many buys.
