Leeds forum

Do tell me how exactly is Sunderland a more 'ambitious project'? Hahahahaha.
I don’t have anything really against Leeds but as it stands you’re a club with a proven failure at PL level as manager, no clear strategy in your signings and PSR restrictions. It’s in the same way Brighton would be more appealing than us for players. Outside of the big 5 no club has any major draw other than how they’re setup in the current moment

I must say I would loved to have seen Cloughie play. I loved his uncompromising attitude. But well before my time of Roker Park attending.

Mark Crossley the forest keeper has put some great Cloughie stories on YouTube.

They are superb.
Indeed they are. . . one of my favourite stories.

The main Leeds forum dwarfs this place

Is having an Internet connection still a novelty in Sunderland?

Wees this clownshoe?
Where’s he at , Spain ?

Somewhere near the coast in Spain, oddly he appears to the flip the video so the signs and car number plates looked reversed
And no mate, Leeds aren’t bigger than Sunderland

2 clubs who have been in the doldrums for years arguing about who used to be bigger is daft

The only question worth debating is who will kick on from here?

I do mate. Always had a reputation for slapping scarfers or lads in tops with their kids. Seen it first hand. Horrible club.

Never known a fanbase come out of the woodwork as much since Bielsa. The way they go on they genuinely think they’re an elite club. A big club yes but nowhere near the regard they hold themselves in
Were getting crowds of 25k about 10 years ago and nothing like ours when they were in the third. They can't blame the smaller capacity of Elland Road for that.

Something i've noticed online from Leeds fans is a claim that they have "huge global support". Whenever the topic comes up about how big they are they often claim to have loads of support worldwide. Apparently you "see Leeds fans everywhere" around the world.

In my experience of visiting different places around the world I haven't seen any evidence of this. In places like Spain you may see a few Leeds shirts but they're one of those fanbases who like to wear their shirts more than others, like Newcastle. Further afield you see the Sky 6 shirts frequently due to them being relevant in the PL era recently. Chelsea, Arsenal etc.

I don't know how they can prove such global support so the only slight indication of global popularity that can be proven would be social media. And Leeds have less followers on Instagram than Wrexham.

We have more overseas supporters' club branches than they do. They get very irked when this is pointed out.
Even the name ' lunchbox ' raises questions, not least since it was a nickname attributed to Linton Christie in reference to his genitalia.. 😲

Seems like @VidukasLunchox is a fan of the meat and two veg visuals .. 😃

Nah, it just means he's a prick.
