WTF…have you had a fall or something???Before the war? You've never averaged over 39752 over a season in your entire history man, not when you had your successful period, with Wilko or when you were in the CL. I suppose that has nothing to do with the demographics around Leeds, Wakefield, Harrogate and the perchance for other sports? You've always been restricted by ground size, even when you could basically put as many as you like through the turnstiles
We've done it 14 times in the last 25 years BTW without even going back to the 50s and 60s.
And yes we've been shit and down to L1, just like you have.
Keep talking about waiting lists and about how big you are and how you desperately want a rivalry with Man United. You're the mags of Yorkshire, at least they've done something recently to have a bit of arrogance about them.
Fck Leeds. Fck them all.Fuck them, last thing we need is yet another forced none existent rivalry.
I’d say they are a much better club as a base to stay and belong in the premier league than say the other yo yo clubs. We don’t need to be concerned with them until match day
Keegan, macdermott and hallFck Leeds. Fck them all.
And pointy ball football.Any way Yorkshire’s a cricketing county![]()

Go back and read this thread properly. Look who started banging on about who’s the biggest like it is relevant in some way
…and to clarify- if we are indeed the Mags of West Yorkshire (lovely place btw), I guess that would make you the Huddersfield Town of the North East - congrats![]()
well, I never knew that!Think it was when he was manager here, absolutely deluded and was obviously him.
Was absolutely him that was posting. Can’t remember the name but was a sequence of numbers.Think it was when he was manager here, absolutely deluded and was obviously him.
The thing is you'll come back under a different name. You've embarrassed yourself but don't worry you're not the first and won't be the last (thinking Sima/cridge and a few others). You forget this is a Sunderland forum and as a rival fan your here by our grace and should respect that our views aren't going to align with yours.Thx. That may be helpful but you seem to be a really boring poster.
I think it may be better if I dont post for a while and leave you all alone in your Northern Echo Chamber. I’ll decide later…
He mentions Huddersfield yet they both have the same amount of top flight titlesYou made the comment on attendances- I corrected you - hence the reasons I quoted exactly that.
West Yorkshire- lovely placeit is when you get up past Bradford.
You are the mags of Yorkshire, not just West Yorkshire. Not the crowds or level of support, or even the recent success and financial backing, not the the history going back 130 years. No, the absolute arrogance and the way you pick up much of the floating support meaning you get most of the absolute @rseholes following you.
I quite like Hudderfield Town by the way. Not really comparable to us apart from playing in stripes.
Well Sunderland are 4-1 to do best of the promoted teams on 365 if confident of that.
Remember getting hit by a chuck of brick thrown by Leeds back in the 80's. Also remember them singing "Yorkshire Republican Army" and waving cards? Not one to hold a grudge but I hate them![]()
Nowt pedantic about it, it's who we are. Be the same as calling the scum NFC or you lot LC. Incomplete and incorrect without it.You guys always make me smile. I like SFC (or SaFC for the pedants) - but the amount of Leeds threads I see on here is ridiculous. Go on Leeds WACCOE site which as a % probably has as many delusional fans as there are on this one (all clubs have them btw) however I’m not sure you would find any thread dedicated to Sunderland and if there is it will be buried well down
Trust me when I say that as a whole, we don’t have delusions of grandeur, we know our history and limitations as much as anyone and just because Sunderland are referred to in a transfer thread doesn’t mean you are ‘living rent free’
Good luck for the coming season. I hope you say up but obviously not at the expense of Leeds. Be really interesting to see how you spend as you probably have more headroom than Leeds and Burnley and getting the £ you did for Bellingham has to be applauded

Always thought that was at tranmere as it ran out of food halfway through first halfDidn’t we set fire to a hot dog van or summit in the ground once ? Vaguely remember summit.
It's all a matter of opinions who's the bigger club between us and Leeds, I'd say we are pretty similar In size. As for them kicking off about us signing Diarra we are an attractive club for a young player to progress, you've only got to look at Jobe going to Dortmund to see that, young players will get a chance to play.
