Latest boxing crack

Wilder would servely damage Joshua however.
As someone said above. Wilder gets a free pass to continue after getting battered by Fury 2 out of 3 times, AJ gets beat twice by Usyk, and last night was close. Needs to retire. Laughable really like. AJ would cause as many problems to Wilder as he would him. Both in fairness have decent chins

Joshua acted a knob head. He said he's not a 12 round fighter.... Then don't come in with tactics to fight a 12 round fight then. Totally tried to take away usyks limelight after he won. His mask slipped last night

Sky must be laughing there tits off at this. Hearns poster boy sitting on a huge contract with nowhere to go
Joshua could fight a lot tbf. If fury doesn’t fight Usyk, Usyk may retire leaving the door open for him to another title challenge. In the meantime, the winner of Joyce v Parker or Wilder v Helenius. Cracks me up how folk see a man lose a couple of fights and suddenly retire him

Joshua could fight lots yes but his stock has dropped massively. He was Hearns prize asset when he made the move from sky to dazn

Has it? After last nights after fight antics. Not sure it has marra. I’d rather pay to watch AJ v Joyce going forward than Joyce v Parker. Will be fine on that front imo. People for some reason love seeing AJ fail (not me) but will always do big numbers

Course his stock has dropped a lot. That's not hating on Joshua, it's simply stating a fact
People like controversy. He caused that at the end. People pay for controversial things/people. That’s a fact. Hence why people for some reason still pay for Chisora fights at this stage

The antics, the two losses on the bounce and the switch to Dazn will definitely have a negative impact on his revenue generation tbh. However still plenty of routes to go. Can even steal a few 0s off a couple of guys like Hrgovic etc.

Needs to sort out his training team properly though, still. Maybe get out to America for a bit again but actually work hands on with Garcia for a good while

Joshua’s getting plenty of hammer aint he !

Still feel they whole team let themselves down and I wonder what McCraken will be thinking today

To have Garcia telling Joshua he’d won the first three is criminal, he was meant to a ballsy bloke saying if he needed to smack his fighter to get a reaction in the minutes break he would yet he was blowing smoke up Joshua and filling his head with false confidence ! Usyk said a bit of brilliance today in that he saw Joshua in the 8th had a winning confidence in his eyes and that have Usyk more determination. How Usyk managed round 10 was properly impressive

Joshua goes the distance in his last 2 fights but then says he’s not a 12 round fighter ….. christ man either take the muscle off n see how your tank improves with that or add more bulk n have the balls to trade and try KO people !

I still think Usyk beats Fury ( credit to Fury if he takes the fight ) and Joshua builds back up to try and challenge for the belts again when Fury and Usyk have retired for good which i dont think will be long maybe a year/18 month

The situation's aren't even comparable. Wilder isn't making $10 million from fighting Helenius, he'll be lucky to make 7 figures. Also Helenius is a mandatory for the WBA, which makes it rather bizarre why he'd put that status in jeopardy fighting Wilder, nonetheless, 1 win and he's back into title contention, probably against Dubois the current interim, which isn't going to sell much either... He'd be lucky to fill out Barnes Park never mind an arena, Dubois will sent to an early retirement.

Whereas there's not really a path for AJ to go down, Hrogvic is a mandatory from Saturday night, he has absolutely nothing to offer to drop that status, Joyce v Parker are fighting for mandatory for another belt, and Fury's belt won't have a mandatory challenger for a long time as it was the most recent one.

All 4 paths for each title is roadblocked.

Never understood the hatred for Joshua or Hearn to be honest. The hate seems to come via the box office angle yet the majority of people who do the hating stream it anyway.

I would be interested to see the commercial power of Joshua against a Fury for example. I bet Joshua is a much easier sell even against a British bum.

Wilder has the heart for a battle, sadly I don’t see that with Joshua.

If he can make shit loads of more money, good luck to him.

Wilder can take a heavy shot too. Which makes it very hard for AJ to keep him off imo.
He’s not scared to take a shot, to stamp authority in a fight you have to take the risk of getting caught.

Saturday was almost as safe a fight I’ve seen for a long time barring one of the rounds I missed.

I just caught the replay of it when my electric came back on.

Garcia coming over to the UK instead of AJ going to his gym in the US was mentioned by journalists as being a bad sign. Have to agree with them. The coach should be running the fight camp not the fighter. I didn't hear Garcia tell Joshua he had won the first 3. Ridiculous thing to say to him when the rounds were close.

tbh, if you're trying to encourage a fighter, and he's doing exactly what the plan was, and the rounds were very close (they were), then its not that bad of a thing to do imo.

AJ is one of the biggest draws in boxing and sanctioning bodies earn a % of his purse by having him involved in title fights. They will have very little issue coming up with a final eliminator, or mandatory status for him before long.

Usyk's output after taking a load of hurtful shots to the body in the 9th is nuts
