Last night result


One freak result shouldn’t take precedence in an otherwise incredible first season back. The stats from yesterday’s game (I know, not an excuse) didn’t really warrant a 5-0 spanking.

Business as usual over the summer. In RLB and Ghisolfi we trust

To be fair there's 'freak result' and there's the worst home defeat in a generation even after years in the wilderness. Not even the Jason Steele squad was capable of conceding 5 at home without reply. 😑

We conceded 4 in the previous game - not good!

But surely if you are going to judge off one bad result you could try to balance that out with several good results? Or have you forgotten about the 6 points against the richest club in the world?

We conceded 5 goals from 6 shots on target. They had an Xg (I know…) which was barely over 1.

Last night was just the perfect storm. Sometimes it’s just plain bad luck.

Edit: also I’m not sure if I’m being whooshed, but didn’t JS concede 5 at home on his debut to Celtic in a preseason friendly?

The OP said he thinks last nights result will make the owners have a rethink about player recruitment.

Player recruitment is the reason we are where we are.
