So right! The Electric Ballroom holds 1500 and it was pretty full, but here are plenty of places to grab a seat and listen so old fogies like me (whose mosh-pit days are long gone!) find it very comfortable. Stonking gig, with the young lion leading a superb band, working the crowd and playing a couple of hours. The highlight for me (an old blues afficionado!) was when the band took a break and he did a few numbers with just a minimal bass as backing to his guitar. So powerful.
We've been aching for live music, but being a tad vulnerable, Gregory Porter at the RAH is the only gig we've done in yonks. I am being urged to get myself out to some open mic nights, so maybe soon. We have tickets for the Black Deer Americana Festival and Tedeschi Trucks at the Palladium in, I think, October.:cool:
 
New Order at the O2 in London in November (back when it had an intact roof)

Was supposed to see Belle and Sebastian last weekend but their tour was cancelled due to COVID
