Las Vegas (cheap drinks)

Anybody been to vegas recently and know any decent places to drink which is reasonably priced.

Iโ€™m out there for a wedding in 2 weeks and itโ€™s allegedly 12-16 dollars a pint in my hotel and most fancy ones on the strip. Now I know vegas is pricey but I canโ€™t deal with that for 5 days.

Iโ€™ve been told Freemont street and both the casino royal (best western) and the Ellis island hotel which are both on the strip.

Any help is greatful.

Happy to drink bottles if itโ€™s cheaper

Stage door, $1 drinks and hot dogs.

Cant go wrong, class dive bar.

Was in LV earlier this year.
First night are checking into hotel we headed to a few places we'd read were "more reasonable" for a drink. On the way as we passed Bellagio fountains etc we noticed most people walking around carrying cans of beer or yards of ale along with cocktails etc. After a four beers in the "more reasonable" bar and paying our bill of almost $60 we decided to just look for a shop instead - can's of beer were about $3-4 in the CVS stores depending on what you want.

We weren't sure if we'd be allowed into the casinos with them, but decide to just walk in and nobody stopped us. Loads of people coming and going with their own alcohol it turns out as obviously the casino's don't care so long as they just want footfall and potential gamblers in the building.

We ended up standing "outside" the dueling piano's in Harrah's casino as you don't even have to enter the bar to watch them as there's is an "outside" viewing area. Plenty of other places with entertainment ongoing where you can just drink as you please

Fremont Street - you cannot buy alcohol from the shops and then open on the streets. Bit more restrictive up there. You have to buy from the vendors who will pour drinks into plastic glasses.

Was there for 4 weeks in January , 4 weeks October 23, 3 weeks may 23. Flights full every trip , Vegas Baby.

I loved Vegas, both times I've been, but crikey 4 weeks at a time there sounds like it would be a lot!

As for cheap booze, Freemont street is cheaper but had noticed when I went in 2017 it was noticeably more expensive than it was in 2012 when I went.

Only 4weeks cos wife and I getting old. From 2002 annually we would do 9 week trips and still be gutted sitting at the airport waiting to fly home ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜
