I don't think that our problems came down to a lack of effort, mainly, but a shortage of talent.

Do you not just think they made their change to stop what we were doing and we didn’t react to it. Our substitutions were really poor today and the lads coming on had no impact.

I'd agree. They had a lot of young un's in their side though where our two most talented players (McGeady and Maguire imo) are old blokes. Our team in general should be fitter though.

The two lads they brought on at half time were really good today to be fair.
 
What started out as a hard as nails aggressive potential fights thread has turned out rather gay.
I'm glad about that it's nice everyone has kissed and made up.

..they were just league one plodders and made us look like 'the dog and duck'. Cringeworthy the 2nd half.

Tbf none of the fighters have kissed and made up, they’re still tensed and raring to get at it

Aye me too but what can you do.

Might get a trip to Wembley again next year and it’ll be a cracking weekend so it’s not all bad. Could always be a mag bastard, think the result today was the biggest one of their season just by looking through my texts :lol:
