If they would sell him you don’t think he’d come 🤣 Haway man we’ve just finished way above his current club and have Europe. Would you be saying the same about sadiki going there if they had Europe and we just survived?.

Leeds did finish 8 points below us but had a very good 2nd half of the season. They’re a similar sized club to Sunderland who with a few good additions could be on a par with us next season in the league
I would imagine he’ll be on very good money at Leeds as he’s one of the first names on the team sheet - he wouldn’t be here

If they would sell him and if we’d be interested he’d be here. It’s just the way football is, if a team above us bids for a player and we’d accept they’d leave. There’s a pecking order and atm we’ve jumped a fair few places from where we started last season.

Would be nice to go all in on Wilson from Fulham . RW is a position we need, were going to spend on anyway, hes English, hes decent , hes on a free , we're probably the highest ranked PL team where he will start every week and we've got Europe . Just a shame hed be a greedy get for money and no way should or would he be made our highest paid player.

Aye I agree with this. Maybe even worth paying him a bit more because he's on a free. Being good enough to start in a position of need for us, and homegrown.

I’m not sure on the lad, he seems very streaky, I don’t think it’s any coincidence his best season has come when his contract is up. I’ll be surprised if he recreates this season next season wherever he goes. What’s he now 29? So been around a while now and apart from the odd season he’s not really stood out. Not sure at that age we will see the upside in him as it’s dead money at his age.

He'll be wanting more than Xhaka given theres no transfer fee . We'd have to keep his wage down , pay him an undisclosed signing on bonus and big production bonuses . Even if we put xhakas wage up to match others will feel hard done by who frankly have already proved they can be as valuable .

Even with europe I doubt Amapdu sees it as a big step up right now. Especially if hes happy enough at Leeds. If we do fine again next year then yes, but at the moment I think he would look to somewhere more solidified in the top flight. I doubt we could really improve his wages drastically enough to warrant it either.
