We aren’t going to get anyone half as good as Xhaka who is happy to be bench fodder
The coaching team needs to step up and have the team adapt when Xhaka isnt available
Quite frankly when he isnt on the pitch we are a shambles

Should be getting someone younger in the same mould.

I still think Ampadu would be a good shout.

You won't get a really good young player wanting to come in and sit on the bench watching Xhaka in between cup appearances. To get one good enough to push him for a place would be most of our transfer budget.

I think it's smart to pick up an experienced understudy who won't mind rotating.

For UEFA competitons. You're allowed to name unlimited players born after 1 Jan 2005 provided they've been at the club for 2 full seasons on the B-List. Whilst your limited to 25 players on the A-List 17 foreign players 4 club trained and 4 association trained.

Ta Bi won't ever qualify for our B-List as he will turn 21 before 2 seasons here. You can only pick Ta Bi for the EL if we have room for him on the A-List. We've only got Mayenda and Tutierov from our foreign players that can appear on our B-List.

Celtic used to be allowed to have Ajer, Edouard and Abada on their B-List.

I misread your post so my response before not particularly relevant.

A lot depends on whether Geertruida, Traore and Isidor stay. If they do and we sign more foreign players it might be hard for him to get in.

He's number 17 on the list of our foreign players for now.

The changes for the knockouts more to do with being able to add January signings.
