aye fair enough mate, it was just a flippant comment that came into my head. I like Everton. However I cant see where else they will turn if not Moyes. Why? Everton are a good club. The Sunderland of Merseyside. Hope they turn it around
Spent a ton and got a big bag of average by the looks of things. No identity to the team, doesn't know his best players.
No not Moyes, Koeman.
I hope they get Moyes
no they are not but he left to further his ambition and fucked it up.Seb

They're not exactly setting the league alight this year themselves
Agreed. Steve Walsh has done an awful job there and should probably be out on his ear too.Where’s Steve Walsh in all of this? Who on earth sanctioned committing over £100m on slow (and mostly ageing) number 10s? And if it was Koeman then the club structure is fucked.
We need to give Koeman what the fuck he wants, build him a windmill at the stadium, plant tulips on the pitch even get the first team wearing clogs, bring him home!
Moyes was mentioned as a replacement on Talkshite![]()
Point is he might not have though. This represents the problem with a club structure that I instinctively prefer, as accountability is difficult to ascertain from the outside. If the profligate signings of Rooney, sigurdsson and klaasen were his doing then he certainly wants f***ing. If it was yet another example of a club ignoring their stated aims to pander to a manager then they all want a doing. I guess by getting rid of Koeman the club have made their judgement over who is to blame. Problem is that they now have a 9 figure problem to solve that’s probably going to hurt them for years. Big spending is so exciting - until it doesn’t work.Agreed. Steve Walsh has done an awful job there and should probably be out on his ear too.
Mickey Mouse club IMO.
Bookies odds mean fuck all at this stage, he's obviously linked because of his time there previously. He's 4/1 2nd fav
