Koeman gone

We need to give Koeman what the fuck he wants, build him a windmill at the stadium, plant tulips on the pitch even get the first team wearing clogs, bring him home!

Spent a ton and got a big bag of average by the looks of things. No identity to the team, doesn't know his best players.

No not Moyes, Koeman.

I'm not sure but I don't think Koeman has put his strongest team out this season cos of injuries and that. So wouldn't you have given him a bit more time? After making him "your man".

Has he?

Sacking a manager less than 13 games. @Bagpuss

Amazing eh?

Glad safc don't do such things.

To be fair to the Everton board he was given a shit load of cash and didnt strengthen where he needed to....On the flip side of that it is still an absolutely absurd decision after he finished 7th last season and they had a large number of players bedding into a new side. 9 games, its pathetic, football is fucked. I do kind of like the fact you think that because its been done makes it a good decision, you really are not the brightest at times mate.

It appears most fans commenting on this on the BBC share my view.

I thought he was a decent manager, but hes been hampered by the signings made in the summer. I'd be interested to see whether they were all players he genuinely wanted.

I like Everton mind, so hope they get a decent manager in. Not only the stuff they did for Bradley, but the fact they seem to be a club doing things the right way and are the opposite of their local rivals.

Agreed. Steve Walsh has done an awful job there and should probably be out on his ear too.
Point is he might not have though. This represents the problem with a club structure that I instinctively prefer, as accountability is difficult to ascertain from the outside. If the profligate signings of Rooney, sigurdsson and klaasen were his doing then he certainly wants f***ing. If it was yet another example of a club ignoring their stated aims to pander to a manager then they all want a doing. I guess by getting rid of Koeman the club have made their judgement over who is to blame. Problem is that they now have a 9 figure problem to solve that’s probably going to hurt them for years. Big spending is so exciting - until it doesn’t work.
