We've had a big uplift in returning 'supporters' for season ticket sales. A lot are the same people who cut ties when we went into league 1 and didn't escape at the 1st time of asking.
So now they've returned, and spent a lot more on their tickets. They're in for a shock if they're expecting us to win every week (which i cannot see happening - the evolution of this club and history of the PL. Suggests yo-yo club status before stabilising). They'll be the first to start moaning and complaining, and it will catch on.
Unfortunately, I can see Le Bris being a victim of his own success last season before the window opens again in January if we are still within a shout of staying up. We will be playing counter attacking football each game. I'm not sure a lot of people have understood what we need to endure next season as we get back to where, I believe, we belong.
I've stuck through the wallopings at Bolton, Rotherham, Sheffield Wednesday and watched parky ball, drove home huffed and picking the match to bits with family.
This season coming will be a doddle for 23,000 of us.
The returning hoards are in for a hard slog.
