I’ve had the veggie pie with celeriac mash a few times in the Tavern and it was unbelievably nice.

keel tavern is the same people as the redhouse in newcastle. pick your pie, mash, peas and gravy for £12.50. very nice as well

Didn’t know that but I do go to redhouse for a pint if I’m through there and, again, their pies look mint. Will be in there this coming Sunday.

Keel Tavern is spot on and the pies are lusherooney. Our lass was in the Botanist last Thursday night and had a sharing kebab thing. Said it was spot on.

The one in Newcastle the grub is bang average , it’s more for cocktails , not somewhere I would have recommended for a meal
