Gutting, but hope the hip replacement sorts you out.I was intending to go for a once in a lifetime shot for a video I'm doing. I've been adding bits to a storyboard and wanted to walk across the bridge as the fireworks were going off and tracking behind someone. I'd had that drawn since last year but then I got the appointment through for my hip replacement which was yesterday so I missed it. Typical![]()
Just hoped for it to look good. As said, missed opportunity.Another twisted mag outing himself. The new buildings on the horizon look stunning….
If you don’t feel safe going home tell them. Have you got someone who can help you ? Is there a care package in place ?Cheers, I think I'm being discharged today. Would prefer tomorrow like

Slightly more dramatic version of when I was waiting for that final bit of bridge to arrive so I could film it and my drone controller packed up.
Only took a day to replace it but it just happened to be the day the barge arrived.
Aye, I'm not in the market just yet but lad taking off next to me last night had one, albeit with the same controller as me.I've no idea, I'm yet to try walking up and down stairs. Someone's been around saying they're trying to get my medication so they can discharge me later which is news to me.
Ironically, I've been off my blood pressure tablets yet it's been the lowest it has been due to feeling well looked after and no stress about anything.
Cheers! Have you seen the Mavic 4 pro? Switches on straight away when you extend the arms and the controller switches on when you pull the screen forward
Are those benches in the middle of the bridge? Tripping hazard surely on a busy match day?

I honestly can't believe (I can) that someone can find an issue with a couple of park benches ffs. They're designed to sink below ground on match days and be level with the bridge for half wits who can't manage to walk round them.
Tbf can see it wouldnt take much for someone to walk into them and easy to be flippant until someone falls over one and gets hurt; however if designed to go level with the deck, fair enough, not an issue.I honestly can't believe (I can) that someone can find an issue with a couple of park benches ffs.![]()

Clever stuff! They're designed to sink below ground on match days and be level with the bridge for half wits who can't manage to walk round them.
You need to get the ok from a physio before being discharged. They would first check you can manage on stairs etc
Can't believe people are believing thisClever stuff!
Do you often walk into things right in front of you like?Tbf can see it wouldnt take much for someone to walk into them and easy to be flippant until someone falls over one and gets hurt; however if designed to go level with the deck, fair enough, not an issue.

It’s a Bank Holiday so they are keen to get as many home as possible. But should only do so if it’s safe. Always good to speak your mind, and express your concerns. Unless you intend to stay 3 weeks then that would be taking the mick.Yeah I've done that, been whizzing all over on the crutches. I told the nurse manager I don't feel right because of the morphine though and I refused the next does of it and that Id be fine with tomorrow once it's worn off.
My experience is the opposite. It’s a Bank Holiday so they are keen to get as many home as possible.
