Yes, you can see them on the video about halfway across.
Yeah. Pretty sure that asphalt is mostly just a substrate to lay onto, but I'm no engineer..

Had a look today. Sheepfolds makes total sense now. Opens up the north side of the river. Will be great addition to city.

As someone who doesn't live in the City, and have always admitted I think Newcastle is miles better - the rate of improvement in Sunderland is brilliant to watch. Its remarkable what they're doing - just wish it started 20 years ago
