Ahh.so the park is going to extend that far , thanksIt’s a park isn’t it or meringue![]()
I reckon they are definitely secretly aiming for it , with the push going on it may be readyAny chance opening for WHU game?
There's no red tarmac, it's black tarmac and paving'Red tarmac is commonly used to mark cycle lanes', if I'm not mistaken the bridge is for pedestrians/cyclists, but red tarmac is generally more expensive due to the additional pigments and processing required.
22nd of August. Opening game of the Women's Rugby World Cup.I reckon they are definitely secretly aiming for it , with the push going on it may be ready
Design flawFfs, it's black and white. Demolish it now before the mags claim it.
Kinda makes sense to have it open for the sunderlands first game back in the premier in 8 years AND for the rugby world cup. Like i say pretty sure if programme and sign off allows they will open it for west ham. They arent going to have it sitting ready and sealed off to "save it" for the huge international coverage of lasses rugby22nd of August. Opening game of the Women's Rugby World Cup.
It kinda makes sense to do it then when there will be international coverage, without the competition of another 7/8 premier league games being played. Good optics for the city.
Oh aye. It'd be great to have it open for the West Ham game, but I think it was decided ages ago that there would be a big opening ceremony and parade on the 22nd. I suppose they're not going to have two opening dates and have gone with the game they knew would get the most coverage. I'm sure the decision was made before we were promoted.Kinda makes sense to have it open for the sunderlands first game back in the premier in 8 years AND for the rugby world cup. yes it says there will be a parade over the bridge but ive not read owt about an official opening. I think people have just jumped to conclusions. Progress looks good i wont be surprised if its open for the first match but they wont say owt in advance until they are sureOh aye. Maks nee odds cos if the rest of the town centre is anything to go by it’ll all be carpeted in a thick layer of discarded gowie come Christmas. There's no red tarmac, it's black tarmac and paving
When I cross a bridge I want to know if it’s open or not soft openings"Soft" opening on the 16th. Under the radar. Ensure no one plummets into the Wear.
Ban the bastard stuff, tax it like crazy, make it prescription only or only biodegradable stuff within a few days and any dirty bastard spitting it out have them thrown from said bridge.Maks nee odds cos if the rest of the town centre is anything to go by it’ll all be carpeted in a thick layer of discarded gowie come Christmas.
