Depends what time they opened the bars so they could get their warm Carling and a scudding hot mince pie I suppose. It'd look canny, but I doubt people would be in the ground from 5 o clock though mate. That's a bit of a stretch.

There's a thread on PF about a Stadium extension, I know this gets regularly trotted out and previously if it had happened would just have mirrored the North Stand if the South Stand was done, nice but fairly boring in reality. But looking at this picture can you just imagine how good it could be done with a decent Architect involved (a very rare commodity)
The upper tier could be a fully glazed elevation looking back over this view in reverse with an internal wide concourse taking in the full view. People would be queuing from 5 o'clock at night to get in for night games to watch the crowds coming from the City across the bridge. Once all the new developments, housing and film studio are complete the view should be amazing.
It would be one of the more photographed Stadiums in the Country and a shoe in for Tournaments and concerts
Design it so it could be used as an event space during the week as well to generate further income
You don’t need to tell @Kevj that man, he’s the SMB’s bridge nerd.

“We going for a pint before the match?”It'd look canny, but I doubt people would be in the ground from 5 o clock though mate. That's a bit of a stretch.
This! The South Stand would look fantastic extended with a updated facade to reflect the Vaux Bridge developmentI like the undercurrent of your post.
Imho we have to expand the SOL so we can continue to build the club. We need to be bold given how relitively easy it is cost and building wise to extend (thanks Sir Bob).
However, you are right the bridge connection means we can be really creative in developing the south stand.
As I said on the other thread, as Sheepfolds develops we need to factor in NIMBYs. Let’s get the South Stand extension up and be creative in linking the extension to the bridge in some way.

We'd all love to see it, how they'd fund it is a big question. This! The South Stand would look fantastic extended with a updated facade to reflect the Vaux Bridge development
Absolutely this!
Great footage that.Extended version of yesterday's video including a top down view all the way from The Peacock, following The Keel Line.

I Think the original plans to continue the Red Brick Façade of the West Stand all the way round would look amazing if every completed as below.

HullIt is going to be epic and really fits our football mad city.
Are there any other football grounds in the country that have a bridge like this connecting the city to the stadium? I can’t think of any.
Aye. We took the “shortcut” down by sheepfolds which ended in thoughts trying to get through a tiny bottleneckIt would’ve been a godsend yesterday, Wearmouth Bridge and St Peter’s area were as jam packed as I’ve seen it, obviously in part caused by certain parts being closed and police vans taking up loads of room.
Better to just piss and moan man. Easier that way.Can you not wait until it’s finished and lit up like?
Got a massive number 9 shirt ongreat it's being built and will be well used, but how the f*ck will it be iconic?it's a bog standard bridge.
