Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

I can guarantee with 100% certainty that this rumour will be doing the rounds of Jamesons, the borough etc .. as an absolute fact .

The first match day that the bridge is actually open, not one of the doylums who spouted thus shite will have the intelligence or self awareness to think 'you know what, I need to stop listening to and repeating these Facebook rumours "

What are you basing that on? Why would you not be surprised that someone built a bridge that can't be used? Do you know of any other modern bridges in the world that are shut when it is busy?

It is 10m wide. Two and a half times as wide as the Millennium Bridge in London.
This is the same as the 'shocking if true' people who thought the Northern Spire was sinking because they didn't understand the concept of tides.

Is that why we are all being forced to learn how to moonwalk? To regulate the pace and ensure we have two feet on the ground at all times?
Not surprised sunderland council built a bridge that cant be used..hope that clears it up for you
