Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Are they operating a traffic light system before and after todays match?
i.e. before the game allowing and restricting numbers towards the ground (and after the game towards Keel Square)?
Why on earth would they do that?

It was mooted a while back (on here).
Yes they told me they are doing this and you have to pay a £2 toll charge to get over (another £2 for the way back too)

FFS!

What struck me was how different the city looked going between the stadium and the offices at Vaux. I took a few photos and it looked and felt like I was in a different city.

The regeneration that's happening is a joy to see and I can only see things getting bigger and better over the next decade or so
Great post, just seeing photos today made me go 'eeeeeee' and point so after a few beers later I may be speechless.

As good a reason as any.
I mean we had people on here thinking the Northern Spire was sinking because the tide came in, but I'm sure their bridge building experience tops that of the people actually employed to ensure that the bridge is fit for purpose.

Out of interest, have you crossed many footbridges that employ this traffic light system?

Been over this morning from Keel square , lap around the stadium followed by a drink at the sheepfolds to get out of the rain and back to keel square.
Just how much of an impact it’s going to have can’t be stressed enough, just a short walk and you’re at the stadium after a pleasant traffic free stroll.
Keel square area was buzzing and it was lovely to see.
