Still think we'll finish mid tableWhere did you think we were? Midtable
Aye but you're always pissed so.....Still think we'll finish mid table
Nee way Ger lad. Gonna be one he'l of a struggle bud.Still think we'll finish mid table
Yes been told on here Coleman is a good manager and it was all Graysons fault.
Have to agree. I go to the match to support my team. Do I get pissed off, not really. Maybe for a few minutes after the final whistle. Is it sad? Aye there's not much to shout about or get behind in Sunderland these days.
Am I worried? Fuck no! there's more important things in life.
Grayson chose our signings, Coleman is working with Grayson's. Coleman also as suffered even more with players being unavailable through injury or being Rodwell
Grayson - 11 points in 17 games. 0.65 points per game. Over the season makes 30 points. Relegation form.
Coleman - 11 points in 9 games. 1.22 points per game. Over the season makes 56 points. Staying up form.
So it's clear to me whose fault it is.
But if Coleman continues his form for the remaining 20 games it would give us 46 points. Borderline - this has been enough in 3 out of the last 5 seasons, but not last season. I'm confident he will better this as time goes on. Breaking the home Voodoo was important.
The thing that worried me most is our injury situation. He needs some backing in the window to account for this. The financial situation means heavy backing is a pipe dream, but Short/Bain need to do something even if it's using loans and a modest percentage of any sales - Kone or NDong (who I'd like to see us keep).
Keep the faith.
Very worrying for both owner and fans.
Players don’t give a shit.

We haven't lost more games than a number of other sides. Just trying to be positive!
I had a sharp intake of breath, and was immediately taken over by a feeling of impending doom about my club.
I have never felt this low in over 40 years of supporting Sunderland.
Before you give me comments about McMenemy years etc, even then, there was something there, not a lot but I didn’t feel like this!
I am deeply deeply worried like never before. I just can’t see a way out of this mess, from the top to the bottom of the club.
Is there a way back?
It’s going to take more than a few signings to turn that team around. We need at least 5 quality players to change anything is my opinion. We are SO bad. I fear the game may be up. Hope I’m wrong and Cookie can perform a miracle with the clueless fuckers.Fine margins. The good news has been nicking a few wins recently has kept us in touch and there is a large pack above us. The bad news is the alarming performances we have put in at home against the so called inferior teams in the division. We need to find a way to win a few home matches and we've not played a lot of the teams around us at home so those wins may need to come against the so called better sides.
A few decent signings will make all the difference. It really won't take much to see us safe. But we need to make those signings, get them right and those new players need to hit the ground running. I worry with our track record, the apathy of the owner, the lack of money, and in truth CC being out of club management for 6 years, whether we are going to get these key dealings right in the coming days. I guess we will find out soon enough!
Reminds me of every time I talk Sunderland with one lad in particular. He's all if this, if that and I'm all but we didn't.If we had beaten Barnsley we’d currently be 19th ... fine margins still with half a season left to go ... certainly not over yet.
Here you go Pete:It's all down to Short in this window, if he backs us we will stay up if he doesn't then we will go down imo
Even with Coleman can't fault him we've improved since he came but you can't polish a shite. Need investment to improve multiple areas of our team or league one beckons![]()
