Jura 21 year old single malt

If you want collectable buy macallan, just drink it

My brother in law bought 2 bottles of 18 year old Macallan from a garage in Buckie, Scotland for about £50 each a few years back, the shop clearly hadn't realised or priced them correctly.

They're worth north of £2500 each now.

Jackpot!

bought on a deal. Augustiner helles and kasteel rouge was summit around £2.20 a bottle. Got 12 bottles of augustiner turn up and the best before is 01/19, the kasteel isn't till May next year like.
Aye, I gotta load of Oktoberfest bottles before on a deal. Wouldn't pay full price.

If it's one of those peaty tasting ones use it to soak your feet in , as and when required. ;)

I hate the peaty ones

I'm the opposite, having come to them late I find the Laphroaig and Ardbeg 10's amazing. The TCP type hit is weirdly addictive.
Still like a nice Speyside but flipped to much preferring the peat bombs

The Port Charlotte is great for that, not tried the Octomore yet

Looked at them in the past...any good ?

The more TCP the better

Btw dilemma malt wise

After a pressie for sis in law who really likes peated malts
Amazon ( who deliver free) have a litre of Ardbeg 10 for £44 ish....or for about the same price could get 70cl bottle of the Bruichladdich Port Charlotte.

I’d personally like both, but would you prefer to receive litre Ardbeg or more unusual Port Charlotte( which is 50% as well)
