I call bollocks. Youd be as gutted as we would have been had this takeover gone through and be on here saying you weren't. They've pulled out because they failed the test. It's better to try to get a PR win than admit they failed.
 
Interesting in the stavely their plan was to invest 250 million over 5 years. I know its not that simple but would 50 million a year really have made them that successful?

yeah certain areas certainly need more investment than others.
I think though that more jobs, relative of area, in this current economic climate can’t be anything but positive.

Do you mean regardless of area?

Maybe, long term I don't want the gap between Newcastle and outlying areas widen though.

And all that's just ignoring the fact that its a smokescreen to softe the edges of the fact that the de facto owner of Newcastle United would be an appauling, brutal, murderous tosser.

Ok the Saudis are bastards, but could they take over a division 1 club with less pro league? They must have thought about it

Let’s say I’m one of the countless people who’s lost their job due to Covid but then employment and jobs were boosted due to Saudi influence, I personally wouldn’t knock back work and paying mortgage / bills due to some morale compass. Very very few would.
