And it wouldnt have bothered them one bit.

Unless the money was spunked on players like Joelinton and not Mbappe and in the first season they finished midtable.

If you ever want a giggle, ask a mag to explain what Ashley would have to do to be seen as a decent owner, if he was to offer a fresh start.

They havent a clue other than "show ambition," or "care about the club"

Ask them to explain either and it comes down to "win stuff and spend money"

Yes it would.
He already is a decent owner.

Aside from the above your post is spot on sir. Well done.

What a waste.

🤣

Trawling Twitter and came across these 2 beatuies,

'If this takeover had been approved, then Newcastle would have been unstoppable, and thats what kept the opposers up at night. Not human rights, not piracy, but NUFC finally being operated properly. We've been a circus for half a century, and thats how people like it.

In a way it's complementary, because I doubt there's another club in England that causes such widespread jealousy.'

The bloke knows no bounds man. How can Ashley appeal if nothing was rejected? Buyers pulled out man

The Independent:
" Once the emotion dies down and they start to think rationally, many fans may come to see this as a lucky escape. In the collective imagination of the Gallowgate, the Saudis were saviours who would pump Manchester City-style riches into the club and bring glory and success. That was never going to happen. PIF involvement was hard-headed business and any investment was required to return a profit."

And I thought our reaction to FPP walking away was bad. Can always count on the mags for entertainment. Funny that they call us deluded. 13th in the prem and the club is dead. Bruce getting stick for doing as much as Rafa achieved. Zero hours contracts are worse human rights abuses than anything that happens in KSA

Social media is full of mags saying we are thick cos this would have been massive for the area and that it would enrich the north east. Not one of us wanted them to be stinking rich and getting to Man City’s level on the field and financially especially while we are still ran by Ian Beale, At the minute it’s bad enough being two leagues apart while they have Ashley. Let’s just say if it was the other way around we all know how they would behave and they would be going on exactly like we are now. What will be will be.

Personally i’d love us to be both took over and challenging for top division titles consistently which would be great for the area and rivalry but i’d love to see them drop down to this level for a few seasons before any of that for a bit of karma. That would be nice.

Then can someone please remnd them whilst there is a hole our arse the Saudi's have no other interest in the NE other than NUFC. Pretty weird way of getting access to the region if you ask me.
