They don't need a new squad though. They won't catch up in 12 months but will over a few seasons.

They have several players who would compliment big signings such as dbravka lascelles ASM.

Chelsea are spending 50 to 70 on players but the new marker is spending 100m plus on players. I agree Chelsea have spent very well with Ziyech and Werner but there's nowt stopping the mags making a big signing that Chelsea and Spurs aren't attempting at the minute.

Everton are spending money but still shopping in the mid tier market. They haven't got the clout to risk a 60m plus signing

Everton would (and could) spend 100/200m on a player. The problem is players of that calibre need to be willing to come.

They haven't announced to media the anti piracy stuff for a laugh.

It's the justification the Premier League wanted before green lighting
Agree. They'll do what is best for them, regardless of what they've agreed to do when it comes to piracy. The Premier league know that but all they wanted is an excuse to give to bein

They’re relaxing FFP this year cos of COVID. Can’t remember specifics but it’s almost being car parked for a year or two I think cos incomes have dropped so much that they wouldn’t be able to apply it. Was in the news last week.
They’re aren’t going to be able to attract top players anyway.

Ill go and rob the bank tomorrow, when I’m in court I’ll plead “I’ll change my ways, I’ll never rob a bank again. Please don’t send me to prison, but can I Keep all this money I’ve robbed?”
If premier league were serious about piracy they'd make the Saudis prove they can prevent piracy for a year, in light of their statement, before getting involved in further discussions. Money makes the world go around though.

I've just read something saying it's Benitez who deserves the credit for this season. Your move.....................

Bruce is getting absolutely slaughtered on your forums today - absolutely hammered.
Why on earth do you expect me to speak for the entire Newcastle support? You asked for my opinion and I gave it. You seem.to have an issue with that.
If you're asking whether I'd rather have Bruce or Benitez I'd much rather have Benitez. Again, my personal opinion. Try and read it, or again you can come back asking me to explain something completely irrelevant.

A hugely controversial decision that will attact opposition and negative publicity on an ongoing basis going forward.
I also think it has the potential to actual be quite funny. They’ll overspend on players in terminal decline but living off their name, like Barkley for example. They may get fortunate and get these players back to their best or could sign a few Rodwells .... the chances of them ever winning a trophy has gone up but so has their chances of relegation if they run before they can walk, see Boro 96-97.

It's clear they've already failed the test. Anti piracy stance now is neither here nor there. It's like a murderer going on a 10 year killing spree and then saying sorry I won't do it again and I'll sort myself out so just strike all past crimes off the record.

Honestly marra, don't panic.

I fear those thinking Newcastle will just finish 7th if they are lucky are going to be sadly mistaken. They are going to be the richest club in the world yes it will take time for them to get there but let’s not kid ourselves this is horrendous news for the rest of the north east. Every 50/50 area are going to go choose to watch top players instead of coming to see Tom f***ing Flanagan. Sad day it never rains ....

I think they’ll do well to get to 7th. Their squad is even way behind the likes of Everton, Wolves and Leicester.

people need to knock this richest club in the world on the head. The money isn’t all in Newcastle. They won’t be throwing £260 billion into the team.
