Is this a fact is it?

I would have thought the only people that would know what's what would be the legal teams of buyers and sellers and obviously secret visage from the SMB as you have to keep the important people in the loop.
I'd suggest you take that up with Chris, who uncovered it, back in April. Do keep up.

Surely though she wouldn’t have went to all this hassle on buying a football club dependent on a 50/50 court case. Why would the Reubans / PIF get so involved and so far down the line with this if she was to lose this case ?

I’m not questioning you here, I’ve genuinely no clue about all of this.
Staveley is in effect the fixer, similar in what she's claiming she did for Barclays.

She doesn't have the financial ability to put in that amount, without winning the case.

So if she loses this case the deal effectively is off ?
I find it very hard to believe that the deal would go this far if everybody involved knew it was dependent on a 50/50 court case.
If that was true it’d be a much bigger sticking point than tv rights etc.

Nah the deal wouldn't need to be off, Big Mike would just need to be paid from an alternative source, through PCP.

correct, absolute horse shit, the only sticking point will be tv rights or the PL are just lazy twats, clutching at straws by SM

Chris didn't uncover anything, it's his take based on a very small amount of information that is out in the public domain. Probably why he uses the word appears to show it's what he thinks is probably happening not what he knows is happening.

Nobody knows why Ashley loaned Staveley the money outside of the people involved in the deal. The speculation from most is not that Ashley gets some of the money from the court case against Barclays just that that money has been used to secure it.
Again though it's just speculation, the loan might have just been away of moving things along at a quicker pace instead of waiting for a party to liquidate assets to show they had the money.

Unless you are involved in the deal you don't know the details of the deal and one small bit of information can mean dramatically different things in the details of a contract.

If you want to speculate on what you think the details of the deal are then crack on and knock yourself out with it but you really want to stop stating things like they are facts as it makes you look like a gobshite.
Personally I won't be speculating on the details because i haven't got a scooby.
