Hasn't it been hinted that Big Mike fronted her the amount she needed for the deal, prior to her case against Barclays?

I’d be amazed if there was anything concrete in this supposed US interest. It just seems too unbelievable to have ‘another’ billionaire waiting in the wings.

I put it down to more mischief making by Qatar personally and think its a fictional buyer.
A back scratch for getting the contract to put his TV's in the airports of Qatar or something like that.

Ego trip, wants the world to know hes rich enough to buy a 300 million pound football Club and has the clout to spend more than the Saudi PIF.
My take is that if push comes to shove and the path cleared for him to buy he’d back right off.

That may well be the case, but as with everyone else, you are guessing.
One thing that isn't a guess, is that Staveley is up in court for something that will have a direct bearing on any takeover.

Is this a fact is it?
I would have thought the only people that would know what's what would be the legal teams of buyers and sellers and obviously secret visage from the SMB as you have to keep the important people in the loop.
Surely though she wouldn’t have went to all this hassle on buying a football club dependent on a 50/50 court case. Why would the Reubans / PIF get so involved and so far down the line with this if she was to lose this case ?
I’m not questioning you here, I’ve genuinely no clue about all of this.
