The point you make re: Methven being there, and it being a concern, is indeed valid, Im not in any way disagreeing with you. But Methvens experience of working for champions league clubs means lots of football clubs would want to him for that reason alone, and he, they. But the SAFC clobber he is wearing does add to the mystery.

I’ve said on here dozens of times since KLD turned up that unless Oxford go up for sale then Methven and Donald will be here until they’ve had a season long tour of the PLs boardrooms.

3yrs max. Though if we win the PL I’ve heard there’s an agreement to let them hang around for the CL final the following season then the Club World Cup and super cup. But they’re off for good after that.

Does seem a little strange that Harvey is out there when surely we should be focusing on the upcoming window unless we're well ahead of ourselves and fully prepared and he's had a jaunt along to see if there is actually any chance we could bring a couple of South American talents over in January or next summer?

yourright..that is where the issueof trust came from...shot got the 40m...12.7m from the new owners abd the 25m from the club to refund him...donald could have tried toobject to shortgetting 25mof the clubs money butdidnt..and short left them on thehook for it.
