I think there’s also a level of frustration that our chief scout is out there, when the urgent priority right now is January, not this Alice in the wonderland recruit from Uruguay idea.

And methven resigned from his club role around two years ago (generally when you resign you stop undertaking duties), so yes people were under the impression he wasnt undertaking any safc related activity.

ah ok I honestly thought Methven was still undertaking activity for us. I hadn’t appreciated he had resigned. It’s hard to keep up with what he and co do for us with the new ownership etc

We’re you asleep for 2 and 1/2 years, when that mob ran our club into the ground, think we all hope that they will all just go away.
The reality is for them to go away though, they will want paying top dollar for their shares and Safc isn’t worth what them low life’s will want right now.
It could get very messy.
That’s the very real big worry right now.
 
Tin hat on here but it could be a slight positive that KLD has told Metheven to get himself away and see Sartori in Uruaguay on some pie in the eye mission whilst the actual executive directors get on with the actual nitty gritty stuff of running the club on a day-to-day basis.

Does seem a little strange that Harvey is out there when surely we should be focusing on the upcoming window unless we're well ahead of ourselves and fully prepared and he's had a jaunt along to see if there is actually any chance we could bring a couple of South American talents over in January or next summer?

the probem with your argument is safc loses money and if they want to keep owning it theyhave to put money in..which they wont wnt to do so will sell..

Which is exactly the problem the football is having, you have for once nailed it @kildaremackem.
The truth will always come out, The last lot have there shares but have to put there % of money in at their percentage of shareholding’sie 59% KLD, Charlie 6% 20% Donald and 15% Sartori this is the huge problem imo, Last lot won’t put their money in and KLD now won’t pay the over inflated price they will want for the shares they have left.
Nobody out there will pay what said rascals want either, I would very much doubt.

te soltion is for KLD to annouce a share issue..as majority shareholder shareholder he can do that whenever he wants. he then has to ask the others do they want to buy the newly issued shares in proportion to the shares they have now..if they say now..he can buy all the newly issued sahres himself and dilute their percentages downwards. its that simple. they cant stop him putting millions in, its got othing to do with them

Pretty sure he can still receive emailed scouting reports in Uruguay, or have Teams/Skype meetings.

yourright..that is where the issueof trust came from...shot got the 40m...12.7m from the new owners abd the 25m from the club to refund him...donald could have tried toobject to shortgetting 25mof the clubs money butdidnt..and short left them on thehook for it.

short alsosaid he left the club debt free..which was a lie.

Ha ha. A was quite shocked when a saw that picture of our head of recruitment. Dont know what i expected but certainly not that. Just looks like he would be out his depth in any high level of conversation.
