Fingers crossed he does well but this is all sounding really shit at the minute like, we're not getting any of our main targets and settling for our 3rd choice in almost every position we go for.

On the plus side I spoke to someome who knows Gary madine today and they said he's still absolutely wild and would only bring problems to the club.
 
Makes sense. Has experience getting promotion from league 1 which is basically the only thing we care about.

Our lot are so fickle he lost a bit of confidence as Warburton played him in an attacking role when we had a dip in form

Our fans love a scapegoat
ATM we have a lad from spurs ( Amos) and Cameron who have done well and he can’t get a head of them
He is also out of contract in the summer and wants to play
So your getting a good pro

Aye mate. They even highlighted that bailey wright has a promotion from league 1 with Preston.

If the player doesn’t have a league 1 promotion on his CV you can guarantee he has international caps, if they can get a lad with both then Coton just laps it up. Can imagine he’s got a Venn Diagram with players agents have offered us. ‘international caps’ on 1 side and ‘promoted from league 1’ on the other side.

Obviously there’s no need for scouting and seeing if the player fits into our system, just gotta hit the key word. No offence to Scowen here just we seem to blow our load over experienced at this level over the players actual skill set. It’s what happens when you don’t have any scouts.

To be fair the one fan who commented on him in their fans forum was canny positive ..let's give him a chance .

Yep valid point, also Maguire has proven Bury fans wrong. I actually agreed with you... it proves nothing. Just harder to get excited. Well if the lad does come here let's hope he's given a fair chance to settle in before the pitch forks come out...
