I'm highlighting that something went on before (which I know about) and just giving my opinion on now/future given the info I have.I'm sure you'll be first to tell us if he does return
dunno mate, I've not heard nowt for yonks. I'll try to dig.Think he'll come back now?
Absolute wrang un. He can fuck off to North Korea if wants a move.
Aye he brought on Craddock very wellThis is a fair point, but an experienced defender in the same way the Bould helped is an absolute must for me.
I think they are just recycling the Romano tweet. Nowt in the article online.TalkSPORT reporting on their website and news bulletins that SAFC and Hendo are open to this happening.
Thisridiculous, the majority of fans would welcome him back with open arms.
Wouldn't be the best Korea move though.Absolute wrang un. He can fuck off to North Korea if wants a move.
Feels like a henderson leak to the press. Wants to return pretty clearlyYou must be logged on to see media items
Yeah very little substance to it like. Article also says we want to keep JobeI think they are just recycling the Romano tweet. Nowt in the article online.
I'd be open to it as long as it isn't an extortionate deal, his leadership and experience could be vitalFeels like a henderson leak to the press. Wants to return pretty clearly
GETIN hope so HTLSTalkSPORT reporting on their website and news bulletins that SAFC and Hendo are open to this happening.
Doesn't stop him from being a money grabbing wrang 'un, who sacrificed his beliefs for money he doesn't need though marra.ridiculous, the majority of fans would welcome him back with open arms.
His experience didn't do much for Ajax when it mattered at the end of the season. it's a no from me, unless he's playing for vastly reduced wages and a contract no longer than a year, with an option for a second.
I want young excitement, not old and end of career (regardless of what Tuchel thinks) deterioration.
ThanksI think you are a good poster mate but wrong on this imho.
JH would be a tremendous signing for our club and whilst he shouldn’t have gone to the Saudis he got out pretty sharpush.
His leadership, experience and nous is just what we need and he would be a massive help to our young lads.
An absolute no brainer to get him in if he wants to come.
Think a lot of people look back on his time of the club with Rose tinted specs on. only played 23 times in total for us, debut for us for as absolute shocker, then Schwarz came in the week after allowing us to rejig the system and get Micky Gray forward on the left whilst he covered. You wouldn’t have had Steve Bould then ?
He's only just about to turn 35 and surely a 1 season deal and agreement to get into coaching, if a. He's any good at it and b. It's something he wants to get into.I get why this could be seen as a sentimental/lazy link, but I honestly don't think it's the maddest move in the world. He's still in the England squad; he knows the league like the back of his hand; he would be great at driving standards in training; he suits our style of play; we are losing a starting box-to-box midfielder, and don't have one ready in the wings.
On the flip side, he's old, will be on decent wages, and doesn't suit Speakman's MO.
I'd honestly not be surprised either way, but I certainly wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.
