You just have to read the embarrassing posts on his thread to see what I'm referring to. It would be the same if the Saudis took over Sunderland, all this nonsense about not stepping foot in the stadium again is total BS - a bit like the comments about Henderson going to Saudi. Like I said, fickle.

For what it's worth, I agree with you - he'd be a good signing.

The rainbow community in this country is a horrendously small percentage of the population. I'm all for everyone to be able to enjoy there life the way the wish too but fuck me if there protests should be allowed to affect the career of as decent a human as Jordan Henderson. Just not on.

He’s a CURRENT England international!
We don’t need a player who’s going to get up and down the pitch like the kid who left us. We need a calm head with a great football brain who can sit in front of the back four, help us keep possession, ping quality balls across the pitch and hopefully help the lads see a few games out, often from the bench. I’d imagine he’d get plenty 90mins in January for obvious reasons!
 
Wasn't fussed when this story first broke last month, but given the quality of signjngs we've made and a few away to AFCON, it wouldn't be the worst idea to have him in and around the squad.
