How can you say it's the same?! Those going over there in the oil and gas industry (like I did with Dubai many years ago) will openly admit it's for the money. Henderson on the other hand denied that was the reason. Not to mention as a footballer of his stature he does not exactly need the extra cash as per se an Engineer does.Those criticising JH, thousands of workers from the UK go over to the Middle East every year for work and get paid handsomely for it.
I have plenty of friends and family who did it, some for years in the oil/gas industry.
Has any of you had friends or family that have worked in the middle east? and if so... have you told them exactly what you think of them? I bet not...
Just get off your soap boxes FFS. You all wouldn't have paid any attention to JH going there, had PIF not bought the mags. You just feel the need to turn on one of our own, merely to keep your moral double standards radar in tact, enabling you to keep slating the mags.
JH has had a great successful footballing career, is a massive lads fan and would have jumped at the chance of coming back here.

And on the face of it I have no issue with that, we’d all do it.
However I certainly wouldn’t be making out I was in bed (ooh matron) with the LGBTQ community then go and make a living in a country where it’s illegal!
