I agree about the vitriol but if you can’t see the difference between his circumstances and your friends I’m not sure you’ll understand why some are so hurt and angry by it

deferred the payments for tax reasons more than likely, he will have had to be out the UK for a certain length of time in order not to get walloped with tax in this tax year. He will have wanted the full lot in next years tax bill.

probably the reason he's gone to Ajax and not a premier league time.

he will still get his full lump as long he doesn't reside in the UK for a certain period next year.

he's basically fiddled his tax in order not to take a hit on his 700K, if you ask me.

Bang on mate. My partner’s Dad worked over there for 4 years, Made a absolute fortune and he loved it. He probably still would of been there if wasnt for the pandemic
