Agree he needs to get his head down. He says he’s off social media now which should help..
Any non racist comments regarding his recent trip home have been brought about by his own stupidity.
He doesn’t yet perform to a consistently high standard, so maybe these ‘fickle’ comments are justified
I hope he can just concentrate on cricket. He should just get his head down and concentrate on his cricket.

Didn’t think it would be long before he played the race card.
All the talent in world but don’t see him having a long international career. Comes across aa a complete dickhead imo.
That’s all well and good but this thread is about Archer not me.You come across as a total dickhead imo
We live in a world where cowardly dickheads can post any type of abuse online, it happens on a daily basis actually. It’s not just exclusive to black people despite the narrative being pushed.Unfortunately we live in a world where racist dickheads can post racist abuse to black sportsman on social media, then cowardly racist apologist can moan about the 'race card' when they report it.
Hopefully, as he matures and gets used to the limelight he'll learn to cope and we don't lose the most exciting bowler we've had for years.

Correct.'Narrative'![]()
The door has been opened by Johnson, farage and trump for those who have hate ingrained to believe they can now bellow the bile to the world.Unfortunately we live in a world where racist dickheads can post racist abuse to black sportsman on social media, then cowardly racist apologist can moan about the 'race card' when they report it.

Correct.
That’s fine.Couldn’t disagree more.
As an aside, is your username anything to do with the former England cricket captain?
That’s fine.
Yes the great Douglas Jardine.
Interesting, I only clicked the other day. A conversation for another thread I think!
I don't give a shit if he's an ashes winning captain or a poor village cricket player, nobody should be subjected to racial abuse. That should come first and foremost before we even talk about his on, or off, the field behavior. There is absolutely nothing justifiable about the way someone has acted online and I hope they get the book thrown at them by the law.
The Black Lives Matter movement should be a moment we can all reflect and learn from, especially those of us who have never suffered racial abuse. I listened to the piece sky did with Michael Holding and Ebony Rainford-Brent, and the interview with Michael Carberry, and was very moved by it all. So it really f***ing angers me to see England's most high profile black cricketer abused in this way just a week or two later.
