Thankfully I don't watch PL matches and I imagine most people will , or should, just mute it till game kicks off and go for a shite or summit at half time.

I have watched when our games on and in truth its shit listening to pundits, and that's our game . That studio bullshit with Dave and Carragher etc is pathetic. Yet I watched the EFL playoffs and punditry was good.

Veering slightly from the (deserved) Jobi Mc love-in, but keeping on Sky EFL coverage, Daniel Mann is an excellent commentator. Although I can take or leave Seb Hutchinson.

Not that I’d want any of them to be commentating/punditing (not a word!) Sunderland games any time soon.

Yep. Said this last night at half time in the Boro game. The lass presenting and both the pundits were excellent and so much better than PL.

Not much I miss about Champo, but this and (of course) Frankie and Danny.

Very likeable, one of the best pundits out there imo and he doesn't seem to feel the need to say anything contentious like some do. He always seems balanced, keeps his cool and gets his points across well.

Agreed on all three.

Very professional, all very easy to listen to and you don't have to battle past their egos to take in what they have to say.

Not a big enough name and unfortunately for him, he wouldn't great the respect because of that. The armchair fan will hang onto every world Neville and Carragher say and think it's gospel. But if someone like McAnuff says something it will be classed as 'a lower league nobody'. Same with Lucy Ward on TNT. She's probably their best co commentator. But Ally McCoist has bantz.
