Jobe Bellingham - Signed

Having a little look around Birmingham fans views on the lad, keep seeing people say he isn't as good as his brother...no shit :)
The thing I'd say about him without ever having seen him play is that very few 17 year olds are ready to play championship football which suggests that he is miles better than the other 17 year olds at brummie academy and clearly a very promising player. Up to us now to find the correct pathway for him so he realises his potential

If it was just a normal 17 year old without famous brother who had only started about 3 games people would be saying needs to settle in maybe start odd cup game etc
Involved in 23 games though,so at 17 thats pretty good
Pretty sure Galbraith sits infront of the back 4?
Just looks like he is sitting,he is really standing up.No more titchy please

Not sure if im honest mate but only 5foot 9

I’m not saying that means anything but if really like us to sign a big strong defensive midfielder capable of bullying teams. Similar to what happened to us the other week
To be fair, Evans was quality in that role for us this season and he’s around that height I think.

If he’s got a good footballing brain and canny positional sense - his lack of height shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I thought Michut would play a huge part, don't think he did in the end. Ekwah came in completely unknown with potential and ended up playing a huge part in the run in.

If Bellingham can hit the ground running and play alongside Ekwah that gives us a much more physical looking midfield (think Jobe is about 6’1).

Wonder where it leaves Dan Neil. Maybe playing behind them as the ‘water carrier’ if we play a three?

I think we will see Neil and Evans as the defensive player.

Dan Neil is a tough one. He could quite easily find himself behind those 2 and benched. Depends how good Bellingham can be

It was against Luton, skill wise a team not fit to tie our bootlaces are in the Prem now.

But everything points to Jobe not being a central midfielder and he’ll play where Pritchard does.

Playing in our system is a lot different than playing in Birminghams, play improvement can be rapid in the right circumstances. That’s what I’m hoping anyway.
