Jobe Bellingham - Signed

If we go up we have to play a 3 in midfield next season. You can’t be this reckless/naive/attacking/whatever you want to call it in the PL and get away with it. A 3 of Bellingham, ekwah and Neil behind Clarke, roberts and Stewart would be fantastic next season and really push us on. Just need a defence around Ballard
And Hume

Our style of play is fantastic and you’ve zero idea how that would work in the PL.

We certainly were more than competitive against Fulham over the 2 FA cup games.

And let’s be honest against the strongest PL teams almost all of the rest of the teams struggle. It’s just the way it is, so unless we’ve got a spare £500M to throw at players, I’d rather stick with what we’re doing.
We’ve seen plenty of times how it would happen. Like when Fulham went down a couple of years ago, or Bournemouth, or Blackpool. There’s a world of difference between playing this way when you have one of the best squads in the championship and one of the worst squads in the premier league. Thinking anything else is delusion really
Reckon he’d cut it in the PL? I’m not convinced yet - looks a bit too rash at times , but definite potential there

Are you actually a Sunderland fan?

Disagree with there massively.

We would of course need to strengthen in key positions especially in defence and a forward or two to give us options and an experienced cm.

But to call it delusion is silly man.

We’d be comfortably competitive against the bottom half of the PL - am I saying we’d end up 12th?

No

I’m saying we’d be competitive.
